The Company
Our client has established themselves over the past 15 years to become one of the leading producers of bakery products and now employ over 800 throughout the region. Due to a new shift pattern being introduced they are now looking to recruit an electrically biased multi-skilled engineer to join their existing maintenance teams
The Role
To action preventive and predictive maintenance systems to plant and associated equipment. Use Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology to identify and implement appropriate improvement. Support Production Engineering Manager in achieving departmental and company KPI's. •Work within a Total Productive Maintenance/Reliability Centred Maintenance system TPM/RCM; •Support Lean manufacturing initiatives; •Implement planned maintenance schedule and follow measurement programme for continuous maintenance improvement; •Support maintenance breakdown activity; •To cover callout duties on a rotating basis; •Working closely with other members of the team to maximise equipment/plant “up time”; •Training of the other members of the product stream in routine maintenance tasks; •Follow appropriate spares requisition procedure; •Organise and prioritise workload/liaise with production to optimise efficiency; •Collate and record details of daily shift activity; •Verify plant performance documentation throughout shift; •Operate Water Treatment Programme; •Keep precise record of any out of ordinary situations and report back to the line manager; •To work within the company quality systems at all times; •To manage external contractors issuing work permits where appropriate; •To participate and develop projects as required; •Flexibility and help out across other product stream and services;

About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Dual skilled (Mech/Elec), with recognised qualification in second skill. Competent in both trades additional qualities i.e.: Welding, Pneumatics, Refrigeration and be electrically biased
